I’ve always been
a writer.
I write, edit, and work with books. My background includes journalism, editorial leadership, manuscript editing, historical writing, and publishing.
Published work
I wrote and edited at Virginia Commonwealth University, including work for Her Campus at VCU and The Commonwealth Times. I later served as Editor in Chief of Her Campus at VCU, leading a 45-person staff producing 25 to 40 articles each week.
Manuscripts

I began publishing fiction as a teenager and have stayed close to literature ever since. My professional editing background includes Dreaming Big Publications, newsroom and magazine editing, substantive and line editing, fact-checking, source verification, and submission preparation. I now work directly with authors as a freelance manuscript editor.
Built around editorial work
I built Prologue around the practical problems I encountered while editing: scattered manuscripts, comments, client communication, project access, and recurring software costs. It is the workspace supporting my editorial practice rather than a separate technology brand.
